A fantastic week aboard the Piccolo
Jennifer Cooke wrote us from London:
"The combination of stunning scenery, delicious local food, mooring off quiet bays and beaches and walking around old ruins made this one of the most relaxing holidays we have had anywhere. With a very friendly and capable crew looking after us what better way to spend a week with a group of close friends. We will be back again!”
Sincerely,
Jennifer

"A week aboard Piccolo was the most restorative vacation imaginable, everything is taken care of!"
Barbara and Mike Kornfield took an early season vacation enjoying the endless beauty of the Aegean Sea.
Our days on the Piccolo were relaxed and comfortable. The Captain and crew always displayed professional expertise - we knew we were in good hands - rather important when you’re in the middle of a very large body of water! The food was delicious! It was the ideal vacation. The sights from the boat are stunning and the atmosphere on the boat is so relaxing that you can truly enjoy the wonderful scenery and surroundings. Being on the Piccolo allowed us to go into tiny, picturesque coves. Buying honey from the man in the rowboat was the best!
Sincerely,
Barbara & Mike Kornfield

New York Times Calls Bodrum The Next St.-Tropez
There was an excellent article in the New York Times this weekend on the city of Bodrum, Turkey (one of our major ports of call at Aegean Sails). Here are some excerpts from the piece…
With its white-sand beaches and shop-lined streets, the city of Bodrum has long been the favorite seaside retreat in Turkey. But now this ancient fishing village, set against the blue waters of the Aegean Sea, has crashed the global party circuit.
What’s the draw? Gorgeous scenery for one. Situated on Turkey’s southwestern coast, the peninsula is a painterly tableau of white-washed stucco homes, purple bougainvilleas and olive-green hillsides. The city is also awash in historical attractions including the stumpy foundation of the Mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
We couldn’t agree more with Seth Sherwood, the author of the article. We love this city, and hope you can join us there soon!
