An incredible 3 week journey through Turkey

My wife and I had an incredible 3 week journey through Turkey last fall ‘05.  The week we spent on the Piccolo brought us closer to the beauty of Turkey than we could have ever imagined.  We spent 7 days and nights aboard the beautifully maintained ship which was operated by Captain Yilmas, who was the most gracious host and who made us feel so welcome in his country.  He has such a wonderful enthusiasm for his native land and his people one could not help but agree.  The constantly changing scenery, incredible snorkeling and “food to die for” stimulated all your senses.  Bekir, the ship’s cook never failed to surprise us with a fantastic gourmet meal, which came out of the smallest of galley.  Amazing!  Both Bekir and Erguney, the first mate, were always attentive to the needs of each passenger so one always felt safe being aboard the Piccolo.  The Captain and his crew were very confident in their handling of the ship.  The anchorages and passages were done with such skill that we knew there would be no diffculty regardless of weather.  Our time aboard the Piccolo was one of the most fantastic vacations we’ve ever had and our thanks goes out to the great crew!

Sincerely:
Bob & Julie Brooke, CA
