The Captain and crew were the perfect hosts.

The Piccolo was fantastic! The Captain and crew were the perfect hosts. Always there, but never interfering in our silly activities.  Visiting the many harbors and little ports, were everything we hoped they would be, and the history of the area was truly fascinating for us amateur history buffs! The big surprise was the food!  We had thought we’d maybe have lunch in those little cafes on the various quays, but could it top the Piccolo’s food?  No, so we ate every meal onboard! Delicious! We already miss the sailing “pace” as frenetic life returns. We hope to return someday and visit the southern area by gulet.  Our very best to the Captain and crew.
