Dalmatian Indulgence (7 days)

Photo of the Andjeo YachtPamper yourself with a luxury, small-group sailing experience aboard a deluxe 88 foot gulet cruising the dynamic Croatian coastline. You'll be served by an experienced, full time crew who will assure you a safe, exciting journey, while catering to your every need.

You'll enjoy superior elegance as you explore the southern and central Dalmatian islands in the comfort of your magnificent 82-foot yacht. The route traces Croatia's celebrated and historic coastline; an area dotted with charming villages, rugged, tree-lined hills rising from the sea generating majestic vistas. The calm waters offer a seductive and pleasing environment, enhancing the spacious surroundings of your wonderfully-appointed, twin-masted gulet.

Your chef will complement your holiday with a variety of health-conscious gourmet meals, accompanied by a variety of beverages including some wonderful local wines. We will enrich your voyage with a couple of soothing massages along the way, all to complement your own regimen of gentle exercise, invigorating water activities, sunning, hiking and of course, some shopping.

Day 1:

Landscape photo of PalmizanaWelcome to Trogir and welcome aboard your gulet. Our Captain and full time crew are on hand to greet us and handle our luggage. Once settled in, it's time for a welcome toast of champagne and other light refreshments, including one of the area's specialties - fresh oysters. Before supper, we sail from Trogir to a lovely bay on the island of Solta. As a welcome-aboard treat, a group of musicians join us on board to serenade us during supper.

Day 2:

After breakfast, the Captain sets sail to the Pakleni islands near the island of Hvar. Here, we can go swimming in one of the bays, or enjoy some snorkeling or waterskiing. We arrive at Palmizana in the afternoon where massages will have been arranged for the group. In the evening, we go ashore and dine at the world famous Meneghello restaurant on the island of Palmizana. The Meneghellows, a Croatian-Italian family, have been running this exclusive, bohemian resort for 100 years. The restaurant, recognized as one of the finest restaurants along the Adriatic, is located in the botanical garden. Here we have a wonderful view of the bay and the moored yachts. After dinner, we return to your gulet for a pleasant night's rest.

Day 3:

This morning, we pay a visit to the town of Hvar. This is a very popular place with the young people because of its lively night life. Carpe Diem, one of the most famous cocktail bars on the Adriatic is located here. After a late lunch, we sail to Vis town on the island of Vis. Time permitting, we will visit one of the many fine vineyards here, and enjoy a wine tasting inland where the Roki family has their vineyards. We will want to make time to visit Kut, a beautiful old part of Vis. For supper, our destination is either Val (in Kut) or charming Jastozera in the town Komiza. This wonderful restaurant is built on one of the harbor docks, right over the sea. From here, we have a lovely view of a beautiful island of Bisevo.

Day 4:

Our first destination today is the Blue Cave on the island of Bisevo. We depart early so we can get there before noon when the maximum light from the sun achieves the most beautiful turquoise light of the sea. In addition, the colors inside the cave itself are breathtaking. After lunch, we pull up anchor for an afternoon sail to Korcula, where we'll tour the town of Korcula. One of our stops will be another of the wonderful wineries in this region. We'll take in a wine tasting before returning to our gulet, where a champagne and candlelight dinner will be served.

Day 5:

Today, we begin with a beautiful morning sail to the island of Mljet, one of Croatia's beautiful National Parks. The crew will transport us to the lake, where canoes will be waiting for us. Grabbing our paddles, we'll take time for a little adventure around the lake. One of the many sights along the lakefront is an ancient monastery. Some may wish to tour the monastery. Tonight's dinner will be at one of the restaurants, either in the bay of Polace or Pomena. Both locations are quiet anchorages and provide a peaceful atmosphere for fine dining and relaxing.

Day 6:

Our last full day aboard your gulet will begin with another memorable breakfast. Then we will sail to the Elafiti islands. Our key destination today is the island of Lopud, where a final afternoon massage will be organized for our party. Weather should be excellent, so our farewell dinner will be served on the beach at Lopud. Or perhaps, we will sail to Sipan for a safari around the islands with a supper in the famous restaurant, 'Kod Marka'.

Day 7:

We set out after an early breakfast for the short sail to Dubrovnik. Here, our trip ends with a fond farewell to our wonderful crew, and many happy memories of a very special week. We disembark at 9 a.m.

The perfect gulet for this trip is the Andjeo.
